Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF)
The Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2010 to help increase awareness on Sickle Cell Disorder (SCD) and to ensure that people living with this disorder have access to the quality healthcare that they deserve.
They are currently in need of volunteers in Kaduna to join them. Please send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to join the movement.
Dependency is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by cik’studiosng geared towards the issue of Almajiri. They are currently running classes on Fridays & Saturdays 4:00pm – 6:00pm geared towards literacy.

If you’ve wanted to see the workings of a TEDx event, there’s an opportunity. TEDxBarnawa comes up in August, 2019 and the team is looking to have volunteers join the planning and organising process. Sign up here if interested.
Tanar Kaduna Bookathon is an event which plans to gather creative volunteers to create Nigerian storybooks and literacy aids that can be printed, translated & distributed to underserved pupils in public primary schools in Kaduna.
