June has been a pretty eventful month much thanks to Eid-el-Fitr. The Sallah is over but there are still a number of events happening around Kaduna. Here’s a hint for an event, there’s a chance to apply to get as much as $15,000 for your startup.
If you haven’t done something outside school or work so far, you should check out any of the events. CoLab seems to be the host of most of the events.
STARTUP GRIND
I think the first time I heard of Startup Grind was about a year ago and I’m pretty excited that the Worldwide event is coming to Kaduna and will be happening this Saturday. If you’re an entrepreneur or even employed, make all efforts to attend the event as you’ll have a chance to connect with like minds and learn from them.
The maiden edition is going to have Yahaya Maikori, an entertainment lawyer. He has strong history of working in the gaming, entertainment, media and e-commerce industries and would be sharing all he has learnt and challenges.

COLAB FOR WOMEN
CoLab for Women, a platform for women to network, discuss any social issue and also help in adoption of tech is happening this month. It is a monthly affair and for June, they’ll be talking about “Networking the Right Way”
