Books, nature, photography, paintings and a beautiful space. All these come to mind when I think of Ilmi House. In Kaduna, it is a paradise for the aesthete.
Ilmi House is a development hub primarily for literary and creative arts. If you’re looking to meet with amazing people, listen to poetry, read and discuss about books or just appreciate the art, it is actually the perfect setting.
Ilmi House also houses a library with hundreds of books and periodicals for adults and children. These are spread across a wide range of genres ranging from biographies, food, arts, history, crime, thrillers, politics, self-help, business, romance picture books, travel etc. It has a deliberately informal setting designed to inspire the new reader. You can sign up to become a member of the library.
Ilmi House has been the venue for a number of lovely art and literary exhibitions which have happened in Kaduna. Basically, if you are looking to join a collaborative community of readers, writers and creative minds, you are bound to find them there. Have a look at some of the art works and plants which have been displayed at various exhibitions;
